By taking out Línea Directa's Squatter Protection Insurance you will have legal assistance throughout the process, with telephone advice that will help you with the eviction proceedings and any Civil Liability claims that may arise from the squatting.

Eviction management

We cover the claiming of your rights to recover the illegally squatted property.

To do this, and prior to the commencement of legal proceedings, up to three extrajudicial attempts will be made to try to evict the squatters

Expenses included under this cover are as follows:

  • Notarial expenses for granting powers of attorney, deeds, summonses, etc.
  • Lawyers' fees
  • Legal costs arising from handling the proceedings.
  • Costs for adoption of interim measures.
  • Court fees

Telephone legal advice

In order for you to feel protected at all times, we will advise you by telephone through a lawyer about your rights during the illegal squatting of your property, as well as about the damages caused and its forthcoming recovery.

Civil Liability

As the owner of the insured property, you are liable for bodily injury or property damage caused to third parties during the squatting of your property, and this insurance covers compensation.
