  2. Performing a pre-travel and pre-MOT check.

There are no additional costs except in the case of wanting to use one of the vehicle maintenance assistance services at home, specifically the driver service to your home to take the insured car to the MOT inspection, where the following costs are excluded:
  1. The payment of tolls at the time of transporting the vehicle to the MOT inspection.
  2. It does not include the transfer of the vehicle by recovery truck if it fails to pass the MOT. And the vehicle may not be moved by the driver who has been requested in the driver service to your home, so the insured will be called.
  3. If you do not pass the MOT inspection, Línea Directa will not be responsible for repairing the insured vehicle.
Before requesting the driver service to your home it is important to know that you must have previously confirmed the availability of the service, arranged the appointment with the centre to perform the MOT and have paid the necessary fees depending on the type of vehicle that has to pass the test.

It is not a 24-hour service, the provision of specialist technical staff for this type of service is from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. In the event that one of our specialists is unable to attend, the car will be taken to one of Línea Directa's approved garages, which are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
